Biblioteka Społeczna w Tuławkach

Wkrótce przy świetlicy wiejskiej w Tuławkach będzie funkcjonowała biblioteka społeczna. Zainteresowanie czytelnictwem i możliwością wypożyczania książek w północnej części gminy stale rośnie. Korzystając z możliwości dodatkowego dofinansowania inwestycji zaplanowanych w ramach funduszu sołeckiego na 2020 rok, mieszkańcy w czynie społecznym wyremontowali pomieszczenie znajdujące się przy świetlicowej kuchni z myślą o utworzeniu biblioteki społecznej. W tej chwili trwa zbiórka książek, które wzbogacą nasz księgozbiór.

FILIA GMINNEJ BIBLIOTEKI PUBLICZNEJ W DYWITACH

Pierwsza Wiejska Biblioteka Publiczna w Sętalu została założona w 1960r. (informacja uzyskana z kroniki Szkoły Podstawowej w Sętalu prowadzonej przez kierownika szkoły Henryka Chodkowskiego).

Placówka ta działała wiele lat. Zamknięto ją, ponieważ budynek, w którym się mieściła został sprzedany. Księgozbiór przechowano w szkole. W obecnej formie i siedzibie  działamy od  października 1996r. czyli od likwidacji w Sętalu szkoły podstawowej.

Biblioteka gromadzi i udostępnia literaturę piękną dla dzieci i dorosłych oraz dokumenty życia społecznego. Stanowi centrum kultury, komunikacji społecznej i informacji. Od początku swojego istnienia rozpoznaje i zaspokaja potrzeby czytelnicze mieszkańców Sętala i okolicznych wsi, rozbudza zainteresowania i kształtuje gusty literackie.

W 2021 roku biblioteka została przeniesiona do budynku świetlicy wiejskiej. Jej księgozbiór liczy obecnie ponad 300 książek: literatury pięknej dla dorosłych i dzieci oraz zbiór literatury regionalnej. Obecnie trwają prace nad powiększeniem księgozbioru. Udaje nam się pozyskiwać nowości, także dzięki ofiarności naszych czytelników. 

Czytelnicy mają dostęp do Internetu. Dzieci mogą spędzać czas przy grach planszowych.
